Jan Gudaniec is a manager with over 25 years experience in finance and management
He has worked with Polish and Western firms, as well as further East (in particular Russia and Ukraine). He has seen at first hand how large corporate companies operate, as well as smaller private ones. He also took an active part in developing startups.
This combined with theoretical knowledge (an MBA and extensive training in Poland and abroad) gives him extensive experience in the world of finance and business management, ranging from crisis management to introducing major organizational changes.
The first 6 years of his career were spent at Iberia Motor Company SA, at the Polish headquarters of the Spanish carmaker SEAT, where he advanced from financial specialist to CFO, and was responsible for finance and investments, and contributed to the company’s expansion in Poland.
Next, at Johnson and Johnson he was appointed finance director responsible for finance, logistics and IT, with his main target to increase company profitability, and to introduce clear financial procedures and product P&L.
From 2003 he returned to Iberia Motors as finance director and board member, responsible for finance, administration and IT, managed a team of 20 employees. He was also on the supervisory boards of several subsidiaries.
In 2008/2009 he was financial director at Iberia Motor Rus, in Moscow, responsible for finance, and co-responsible for other aspects of the business, and helped the company develop during a period of crisis in Russia.
Since the end of 2009, using the experience gained, as one of the precursors on the Polish market, he provides the services of an external financial director at EtyczneFinanse.pl. The services provided allowed many companies to grow and significantly improve their financial results.
His key qualities are high efficiency in achieving objectives, the ability to manage and motivate a team, and a strong focus on profit.
He has high credibility in many financial institutions resulting from long years of cooperation and trust.
He graduated from Warsaw University and received an MBA from Warsaw School of Economics. He also completed a number of supplementary courses in finance and management organized by renowned training centres.
For several years, he shared his knowledge and experience in the field of finance with students of the Warsaw School of Economics.
He has a strong belief in honesty, conducting business in an ethical manner, and in respect for others.
His passions are not only finances but also winter sports, kitesurfing, tai-chi and traveling.
He is married and is a father.
